Hi to all our family and friends from The Fathers House Team @ Haiti Arise. Our team is doing very well adjusting to the time and climate changes. We are enjoying the time getting to know our Canadian & Haitian Brothers and Sisters. Today we had the blessing of facilitating a Vacation Bible School program for the 4th through 7th graders here @ Haiti Arise. I personally cannot express how much joy I feel being able to be apart of something that can speak to the heart of a child. VBS is something that brings them joy and into the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ. To have over 150 children come forward to an alter call for prayer is very humbling. We arrived in Port au Prince on Monday morning and I had such a big plan ...I had an expectation of the awesome way God was going to use me to minister to the people of Haiti, only with my 30 years of plumbing experience but also with my love for our Lord and Saviour Christ Jesus. Holidays In Haiti

I will start by praying everyone had a wonderful day surrounded by friends, family and love. How ironic to spend Thanksgiving in Haiti, one of the most impoverished countries in the world. It has definitely given me a real appreciation for what I have to be thankful for. I was asked the question “what stood out for you most on the trip?” My immediate response was ‘how blown away I was by the generosity I saw in people who had nothing by our standards, and their willingness to help each other”.
