Carly

MEET

He came as a baby: malnourished, frail, and fighting for life.

But God had a bigger plan.

Today, Carly is no longer just a rescued child — he’s a young man with purpose, restored and ready to shine.

And he was only the beginning.

Your gift can help us rescue and restore more children like Carly — transforming heartbreak into hope, and survival into leadership.

Together, we can raise a generation of leaders in Haiti. Carly was the first. He won’t be the last.

From death to new life

Carly came to us in 2016, the very first child welcomed into the ARISE Children’s Village. His story is one of heartbreaking loss—and incredible resilience. Carly’s mother died, leaving behind eight children in the care of their father, a poor peasant farmer who was unable to provide for them. With no other options, he gave each child away to different caretakers. Carly ended up with an aunt who loved him, but lacked even the means to feed him milk. By the time we found him, he was on the brink of death. At just 14 months old, Carly couldn’t lift his head or sit up. He was severely malnourished and riddled with parasites—over 70 worms were expelled from his tiny body after receiving urgent medical care.

But Carly’s story didn’t end there. At the Children’s Village, he began to heal. He gained strength, learned to walk, and eventually to thrive. Today, Carly is a living picture of hope—a reminder of why this Village exists. One child. One life. Forever changed.

And now, his story becomes the spark for something even greater.

THE GOAL

Together, we are launching the most ambitious campaign in Haiti ARISE history:

As Carly turns 11, his light is sparking a movement. — $11 Million by end of 2026.

This is about more than a number.
It’s about sustaining and growing the entire Haiti ARISE community — so that every child, student, patient, and family can not only get by, but truly thrive.

Your support will ensure:

  • Safe homes and loving families in the Children’s Village

  • Quality care for thousands through the Medical Clinic

  •  Life-changing education in our Schools & Technical College

  •  Spiritual growth and community through the Church

  •  Strengthened infrastructure to support sustainable growth for generations

Expanding the Vision

Haiti ARISE is not standing still — we are expanding to develop new campuses across Haiti, building on a foundation of strong community to bring hope and opportunity to even more regions. These campuses will mirror the model that has transformed lives in Grand-Goâve: education, family care, medical outreach, spiritual development, and sustainable growth.

Carly’s Story Touches It All

Carly’s life is living proof of what happens when this community is strong.
He has experienced nearly every part of the Haiti ARISE mission:

  • He grew up in the Children’s Village, where he found safety, love, and family.

  • He received critical medical care at our clinic as a baby — care that saved his life.

  • He attends our school, growing in knowledge and confidence.

  • He’s a part of our church, growing in faith and character.

Carly was the first child welcomed into the Village. His story embodies the impact of each area of the ministry — and now, his light is sparking a movement that will reach thousands more.

Carly’s life is living proof of what happens when this community is strong.
This campaign is our opportunity to build that strength for countless others.

Carly was the first — but he won’t be the last.

Your gift doesn’t just change one life — it raises a generation ready to lead Haiti with faith and purpose.

This is more than a campaign—it’s a community movement.

Stand with us as we build a future that lasts.

“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.” ISAIAH
