Helping Rebuild

Disaster Strikes. Hope Rises.

Since it started, Haiti ARISE has stood in the gap—responding when disaster hits and remaining long after the headlines fade. Disaster relief is not a side ministry for us—it’s woven into the fabric of who we are.

When earthquakes, hurricanes, and crises devastate communities, we respond immediately with food, clean water, and medical aid. But our ministry doesn’t stop at relief—it’s about rebuilding lives and restoring dignity through long-term, sustainable recovery.

Led by skilled Haitian laborers and tradespeople, our teams are on the ground, building modest, resilient homes that offer safety, shelter, and hope. After the catastrophic 2010 earthquake, which claimed 300,000 lives and destroyed half a million homes, we launched EachONE BuildONE, a community-powered rebuilding program that restored over 125 homes. When Hurricane Matthew struck in 2016, flattening 80% of southern Haiti, we constructed 195 hurricane-resistant homes from Cavaillon to Jeremie. In 2021, as Hurricane Grace followed another devastating earthquake, we took up the call again—to build 200 more homes for families who lost everything.

Now, Haiti faces another devastating crisis. Widespread gang violence is displacing thousands of families, forcing them from their homes and communities with nowhere to go.

We’re responding—again.

Though the storms keep coming, hope still lives.
