When Marc and Lisa Honorat founded Haiti ARISE over 20 years ago, they were driven by one belief: there is still hope for Haiti. Even in the darkest seasons—through political unrest, natural disasters, and deep poverty—they held fast to God’s call to raise up Godly leaders and rebuild communities with dignity and purpose.
Hope for Haiti Is More Than a Phrase
For some, Haiti is seen as a lost cause. But for us, it's a nation worth investing in—because we’ve seen firsthand what God can do.
That’s why we’re still:
Building schools, homes, and vocational programs
Helping the sick and vulnerable with medical care and compassion
Preaching the Gospel in classrooms, churches, and communities
Teaching youth and adults to lead with faith and character
Walking with families through heartbreak, healing, and hope
Still Here. Still Believing. Still Serving.
We’ve witnessed transformation that only Jesus can bring. Children once hopeless now teach and lead. Families once broken now stand strong. And through it all, the mission continues: to be a light in the darkness and a source of hope for Haiti.
Why We Won’t Give Up
We keep going because:
The Gospel is powerful
The people of Haiti are resilient
And because God has not given up on Haiti—so neither will we
This is not a short-term project. It’s a lifelong mission to see Haiti restored from the inside out.
You Can Be Part of the Hope for Haiti
Every gift, every prayer, every partnership fuels this movement of faith and restoration.
Final Word:
Haiti is not forgotten. There is still work to do—and still hope for Haiti. At Haiti ARISE, we are committed to building brighter futures through faith, education, and love. Will you join us?
