There are always supplies that you can help gather for Haiti ARISE Ministries that can be sent down with a team or shipped in our current shipping container, to help us reach out to our community and continue our work.

Here is a list of the CURRENT SUPPLIES needed for teams to bring.

If you have donations that are not on the list please contact Marilyn Fitzpatrick to discuss before your arrival.

The best avenues of support that enable Haiti ARISE to accomplish our goals, is through groups and individuals that have caught the passion for our vision and are willing to help fundraise. You can be involved by planning an event or fundraising campaign.

  • Sell t-shirts, Haitian art, coffee, vanilla etc.

  • Put on a banquet dinner or dessert night.

  • Hold a silent auction or a concert.

  • Promote a campaign to build a home.

  • Run a school supplies or backpack drive.

  • Encourage friends & family to sponsor kids.

Team Hosts

Wade & Marilyn Fitzpatrick have been in pastoral ministry for 27 years in Canada. Their first trip to Haiti ARISE a couple of months after the earthquake with doing short term teams with Haiti ARISE.  Each time they left, they felt a piece of their hearts were left behind.

In the fall of 2011, the couple came down for two months in search of what God wanted for them and for their ministry. They spent 2012 in Canada working and praying for God’s clear direction for the future. Partway through the year, they clearly felt the call of God to be in Haiti full time.

On the ground, they are our Team Hosts in Grand Goave for short term ministry teams coming down to serve at Haiti ARISE.  From greeting teams at the airport to planning projects, ministry opportunities, and leading cultural experiences, the couple have found their call.

"God continues to call us back each year.  In order for us to be involved in Haiti ARISE in this capacity, we raise our own support.  It is because of the generosity and commitment of many people that we are serving here.  When we are in Canada, we call Weyburn, SK our home.  We have two sons, a daughter in law and one grandson."  - Wade & Marilyn

Mike & Deb Hultink
Tyler, Gabe, Mason & Molly

Mike and Deb Hultink, along with their 4 children, Tyler, Gabe, Mason, and Molly will be joining the Haiti Arise team in September. The Hultink’s have a heart for serving whether they are in their hometown Lacombe, AB in their church and community or the wherever the Lord guides them.

‘’We are so excited to serve with Haiti Arise and we look forward to how God is going to work in the hearts of the Haitian people as well as our hearts. A year ago, after receiving a vision of our family Skyping in with our church family, we began to pray and seek guidance in the next steps we should take. Fast forward a year God has paved the path to Haiti, and we feel confident that He has called us there. We will be working alongside Wade and Marilyn, assisting in facilitating teams. As well, Mike will be working in the Technical school aiding in program development and working alongside the staff and students to encourage and provide new ideas for the future. As for myself, I’ll be working with the social worker and parents in the Children’s village helping strengthen programs and assist in developing new opportunities in the village.

Thank you for your support and encouragement! We look forward to sharing this journey with you!"
