GATHER & SUPPORT

FUNDRAISE

The best avenues of support that enable Haiti ARISE to accomplish our goals, is through groups and individuals that have caught the passion for our vision and are willing to help fundraise. You can be involved by planning an event or fundraising campaign.

FUNDRAISING IDEAS:

  • Sell t-shirts, Haitian art, coffee, vanilla etc.

  • Put on a banquet dinner or dessert night.

  • Hold a silent auction or a concert.

  • Promote a campaign to build a home.

  • Run a school supplies or backpack drive.

  • Encourage friends & family to sponsor kids.

Thank you for your fundraising idea. We'll be in touch shortly.

GATHERING SUPPLIES

There are always supplies that you can help gather for Haiti ARISE Ministries that can be sent down with a team or shipped in our current shipping container, to help us reach out to our community and continue our work.

MISSIONARY SUPPORT

Joe Park

My name is Joe Park and I just want to share a little about me and God's call on my life and how I ended up serving here in Haiti.  “God has put it on my heart to serve particularly the Haitian people with my skills. I served at Haiti Arise for two years in 2012 and 2013, helping with the mechanical side of operations and some teaching. After this I went to work for Samaritans Purse for 6 years as a Logistics and Operations manager for their DART teams. While I was working with SP, I was brought back to Haiti several times and during those times I always looked forward to going back to see Pastor Marc and the rest of my Haiti ARISE family. I would assist when I could and helped get them some of Samaritan's Purse's equipment when SP closed down one of their bases in Haiti. God has put it on my heart to go back down to help Haiti ARISE again to make sure their equipment & machinery is up to proper operating standards. I would also like to teach more of the local Haitians how to operate this equipment while there and look at hiring a Haitian mechanic to work alongside me, ensuring quality stewardship of Haiti ARISE’s equipment. I would be stepping down from my job with Samaritans Purse to go serve at Haiti Arise again and I am asking if you could help support not only me, but the Mechanics course as a part of the Haiti ARISE Technical College so that we can share the love of Christ with the Haitian people and equip them for a better future in a country that has major struggles.Your support would go to covering this project including my cost of travel, living expenses in Haiti and a small wage to ensure my personal expenses are covered. If you would prayerfully consider supporting me and the Mechanical department for Haiti Arise I can assure you that it would go to great use.”

Mike and Deb Hultink, along with their 4 children, Tyler, Gabe, Mason, and Molly will be joining the Haiti Arise team in September. The Hultink’s have a heart for serving whether they are in their hometown Lacombe, AB in their church and community or the wherever the Lord guides them.

‘’We are so excited to serve with Haiti Arise and we look forward to how God is going to work in the hearts of the Haitian people as well as our hearts. A year ago, after receiving a vision of our family Skyping in with our church family, we began to pray and seek guidance in the next steps we should take. Fast forward a year God has paved the path to Haiti, and we feel confident that He has called us there. We will be working alongside Wade and Marilyn, assisting in facilitating teams. As well, Mike will be working in the Technical school aiding in program development and working alongside the staff and students to encourage and provide new ideas for the future. As for myself, I’ll be working with the social worker and parents in the Children’s village helping strengthen programs and assist in developing new opportunities in the village.

Thank you for your support and encouragement! We look forward to sharing this journey with you!"
