We were greeted by another beautiful Haiti sunrise as we had devotions on the roof. After breakfast Elroy, Aaron, Bruce and Kevin headed to the children's village to get more tiling, electrical, and painting done. The rest of the team headed to the Market in Grand Goave. The Market is just little bit different than the mall, haha. After trekking through one street full of vendors out to the dried up river bed and then we headed out to the exchange store, where we changed our american dollars for Haitian Gouds. We then made our way through crowded paths between the many vendors booths, some group memebers wanted to get sandels, Kim was able to find a nice dress for church tomorrow. We are planning on tuesday to visit our sunday school sponsored children from the Heart to Heart orphange where we have care packages for them and to not make the other children feel left out we picked up treats to give to them. After lunch we headed for an afternoon at the beach! At the beach some team members enjoyed a fresh lobster cooked up right on the beach from a local fisherman! Others enjoyed swimming in the ocean, playing catch with the foot ball and snorkeling. After supper we had group debrief on the roof were we had a time of praise and worship, sharing about our day and a time of prayer. Church is bright and early tomorrow morning at 7am! Marilyn has a message for Jean Romain, with all the walking through market and to the beach and back we walked over 22,000 steps!
