A mission trip is a life changing experience. We are accepting applications for teams to come in the fall through next spring.
Haiti ARISE Ministries is a mission that is reaching out to the communities of Haitians in the Grand-Goave area, young and old alike. Our vision is to raise up godly leaders who can impact their nation for Christ and we are carrying out this vision in many ways.
Through the church, we are touching their lives spiritually, helping them find hope and grow in their relationship with Jesus. We are training leaders in seminars and Bible classes. Through outreach, we are helping provide for the needy families in the community by feeding programs and sending young people to school. Through our technical college, we are training the people in practical skills that can be used to help find or create work. Through our building and administration of the ministry, we are providing jobs and ministry opportunities for the Haitians and missionaries alike.

Unique Team Focus
You and your team can be a part of fulfilling Haiti ARISE Ministries’ goals. Each mission team we host comes with a unique purpose fitted to their skills and ministry focuses. Each team helps raise the funds to carry out their trip focus on the field in Haiti. Some projects and ministry that your team can be involved in may be:
- Feeding Programs- Dry rice distribution, which may also include giving clothing, toiletries and/or toys to needy families in the community. {mosimage}
- Building projects- Depending on the most current needs, this could be painting, bricklaying, digging, carrying rocks etc.
- Ministry Conferences/Seminars- A special week or days of meetings for leaders, women, men, youth or children, including providing a daily meal or snacks.
- Community Outreaches- Special activities done out in the community to share Christ in a practical way may include things like street dramas, neighborhood clean-ups, or some kind of sports camp.
- Special Services/ Teaching- Medical clinics or concentrated practical classes may be a focus of a team’s trip.
Depending on the activities and projects chosen for your team, the costs to make it happen could range from $1,000 to $5,000 US. We encourage the leader to work this amount into each individual’s trip costs.
Important parts of every team experience that are integrated into the trip include:
- Church Ministry- Services are held a number of days each week, giving opportunities for sharing testimonies, songs, working with children’s ministry teaching and preaching.
- House to House Evangelism- The most life-changing part of missions in Haiti is the personal contact of sharing about Christ to the Haitian people while visiting them in their homes.
- Prayer & Devotions- Each morning and some evenings, the team comes together to study and encourage one another in the Word and prayer.
- Fun Day- A trip to the beach or to another town provides a day to fellowship, enjoy the culture and just being in Haiti.
