We've arrived safely to our destination, and the kids are already bursting with joy at seeing their friends. I'm so glad to be warm! It's a balmy 30 degrees Celsius that we've swung to out of the negative of Canada. I'm actually wearing a skirt again without getting insta-hair growth from goose bumps. We met Wade & Marilyn in Miami and were embraced with lots of welcoming hugs from Anel & Ronald in Port-Au-Prince, our grown boys. I'm so proud of who these two guys have become. Background story- they both lived with us for the first 8 years of our ministry start here and are like our own sons. Our kids consider them brothers and the girls are really excited to be in Ronald's wedding this coming weekend. He's the only reason we jetset so quickly after wrapping up Christmas. Usually we don't come for another week.
At any rate, we're all here, after the crazy packing of 20 bags and I can attest that we lost neither luggage nor kids. A great feat for a mother of as many kids as we have! Another great feat was that we got to sit altogether on all 3 planes.
We hear there's revival services every night til New Years- so glad to be back in a spiritually rich environment.
We'll post again soon!
