This weekend was amazing and memorable. First, because of the great work accomplished for us through the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ and second, for the celebrations we had in memory of the first. We held special services from Wednesday to Sunday, starting with Children's programs and ending with an awesome afternoon service especially for all of our Sunday School members. The children prepared skits on the life and death of Jesus, and the worship on Friday, Saturday and Sunday was extraordinary with an enveloping presence of the Lord's Spirit. On Sunday afternoon, we had class competitions, posing questions by team on all the lessons studied since the beginning of the year. Two young men in the "Soldier Class" even recited perfectly all 12 memory verses we have learned in studying the life of Abraham and Jesus' work on the cross. It was awesome. We have a little lull again before the next team arrives May 2nd. I am hoping to finish a newsletter to get sent out before then! Bless you all and let us keep the finished work of Jesue close to our hearts and minds! Matthew 28:5-6 "And the angel answered and said unto the women; Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord had laid."
